maybe include it in some sort of early season event?
get people there for a bunch of reasons.

it'd depend on how people felt about riding at this time of year (not a lot of practise), maybe a slider jam with random prizes, nothing competitive.

It doesnt need to be formal....after you have spent 30 mins wandering round looking at all the cool shit there was not alot else to see....at one stage there was some wake surfing happening which was at least some distraction....
Theres were plenty of good riders round and if they were going past a few times working for there sponsers even that would be awesome.
The boats that were going out were heading out of sight....tell them to do a few passes past the bank.

I reckon get a plug on the radio and you'd get a lot more people coming to check it out.

Wish I'd gone for a set on the Epic, but I went out a bit hard in the morning on our boat, caught the heel edge going w2w and wound up with a sore head so didn't ride much on the day.

It looked real nice from the shore...
